The Popular Union of Occitania is a micronation who still exist since the June 7, 2015 but he write his declaration of independence on October 1, 2016.

Le Soviet Suprême de l'Union Populaire d'Occitanie, représentant la volonté du peuple et de la nation, proclame solennellement que les pouvoirs souverains de l'Union Populaire d'Occitanie sont établis, et que désormais l'Union Populaire d'Occitanie est un État indépendant. Le territoire de l'Union Populaire d'Occitanie, est un et indivisible et la constitution d'aucun autre État n'est valide à l'intérieur de nos frontières. l'Union Populaire d'Occitanie, insiste sur son adhésion aux principes universellement reconnus de droit international, il reconnaît le principe d'inviolabilité de frontières comme formulé dans l'Acte final de la Conférence sur la sécurité et la Coopération en Europe tenue à Helsinki en 1975, et il garantit les droits de l'homme, les libertés individuelles et les valeurs démocratiques. Le Soviet Suprême de l'Union Populaire d'Occitanie, en proclamant son pouvoir souverain, commence par le présent acte à mettre en œuvre la souveraineté complète de l'État établi depuis le 7 Juin 2015.

The Soviet Suprême of the Popular Union of Occitania expressing the will of the people and of the nation, solemnly proclaims that the execution of the sovereign powers of thePopular Union of Occitania is established, and henceforth the Popular Union of Occitania is an independent state. The territory of the Popular Union of Occitania is whole and indivisible, and the constitution of no other State is valid on it. The Popular Union of Occitania stresses its adherence to universally recognized principles of international law, recognizes the principle of inviolability of borders as formulated in the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe in Helsinki in 1975, and guarantees the human rights, individual liberties and democratic values. The Soviet Suprême of the Popular Union of Occitania expressing sovereign power, by this Act begins to realize the complete sovereignty of the state established since the June 7, 2015.
