Operation Rosebud was the name given to the Kivinesaari occupation of neighboring Rose Island from November 2–28, 2011. To date it is the only time that the entire Kivinesaari Army has been mobilized at one time. The invasion was announced on November 1 by Princess Liisi and served as a military drill as well as demonstration of superiority to the inhabitants of Narragansett Bay.
