The Order of Blazdonia is the highest state and chivalric order conferred by the King of Blazdonia on behalf of the government and people of the nation. It was constituted by the first and reigning monarch of the nation, King Kevin I. The Order of Blazdonia is largely inspired by the Order of Australia which is the highest decoration of the Commonwealth of Australia.

The Order of Blazdonia is conferred in recognition of the outstanding service or exceptional achievement rendered by individuals for the development of the nation and the people. Nominations to the award are open to members of the community however, the nominations to the military division of the order are made by the Minister of Defence to the Governor-General. Nominating individuals is a chance to recognize a peer for their hard work, service and dedication and a way to inspire people to contribute towards the nation.

Grades, precedence, and insignia

Grades and precedence

The Order of Blazdonia is conferred in four distinguished grades and a military division. The four grades of the order are:

• Companion (BC)
• Officer (BO)
• Member (BM)
• Medal (OBM)

Companion of the Order of Blazdonia (BC): The grade of "Companion" of the Order of Blazdonia is the highest grade to which an induction can be made. Individuals are appointed for their eminent achievement and merit of the highest degree in service to Blazdonia or to humanity at large. The companion grade is open to both foreigners and citizens.

Officer of the Order of Blazdonia (BC): The grade of "Officer" of the Order of Blazdonia is the second highest grade after the Companion of the order. Individuals are appointed for distinguished service of a high degree to Blazdonia or to humanity at large.

Member of the Order of Blazdonia (BM): The grade of "Member" of the Order of Blazdonia is the third highest grade after the grades of Companion and Officer. Individuals are appointed for service in a particular locality or field of activity or to a particular group.

Medal of the Order of Blazdonia (OBM): The grade of "Medal" of the Order of Blazdonia is the fourth and the lowest grade of the order, after the grades of Companion, Officer, and Member. Individuals are appointed for service worthy of particular recognition.

The King of Blazdonia is the Sovereign of the Order of Blazdonia as the fons honorum of all state orders, decorations, and medals. The Sovereign's grade is a special yet not a separate grade within the order.

Insignia

The insignias of the Order of Blazdonia is dependent on the different grades of the order. The Sovereign receives a special insignia in recognition of their status as the Sovereign of the nation and as fons honorum.
