The Most Eminent Order of Loyalty and Faithful Service or less formally, the Order of Loyalty and Faithful Service is a dormant order of chivalry of the state of Purvanchal which was conferred by the Maharaja of Purvanchal. The order was established on 13 August 2021 and was conferred upon those individuals who have made significant and considerable amounts of dedication and service to the state and the nation and also for personal benefit and service to the ruler.

History

The Order of Loyalty and Faithful Service was established on 13 August 2021 by Maharaja Varuna Sriraya. The order was solely conferred on the citizens of the nation in recognition of their significant and considerable amounts of dedication and service to the state and the nation and also for personal benefit and service to the ruler. At the time of the establishment, it ranked after the Royal Family Order of Purvanchal but with the creation of the Order of the Maharaja Varuna Sriraya, it became the fourth highest state order.

The Order of Loyalty and Faithful Service was made dormant on 1 December 2022 through a royal decree issued by the Maharaja of Purvanchal.

Grades

The Order of Loyalty and Faithful Service was conferred in the single grade of Member. Recipients of the order bear the post-nominal letters of MFS. The Maharaja of Purvanchal is the Sovereign of the order as the fons honorum of all honours of the state, while the Crown Princess serves as the Grand Mistress of the order.
