Pórfayz Province is one of the four provinces of the Rank Republic of Bolgajna. It is the largest in terms of area and the second most populous. Its production and industry, however, ranks a paltry third after Thury and Oszróvia. Its capital, Tölgyfajsz, belongs to the so-called western economic zone, which means that it is economically developed but, according to some opinions, belongs to the backward zones in terms of economic development. It is one of the most beautiful regions of Bolgajna with its many tourist attractions.

Etymology

It got its name from Fajsz, the son of Árpád's son Jutas. The area on which it is located in Hungary is known as Veszprémfajsz, but in the past it was mentioned as Pór-Fayz, which was written together to form Pórfayz.

Location

It is located in the southern part of Bakony. The nearest province is Nosztre, which is approximately 10 kilometers to the south.

Areas

Borovicska national area

The Borovicska people were born in this area and began their migration towards the eastern forests. True to the name of the area, it is completely covered with juniper bushes. The name of the ethnic group that traditionally lives here comes from the name of this woody plant. The juniper berry crop is the number one product of the area and also a source of income. Its soil is completely covered with moss, only this plant can grow among the needles of the juniper bush. So, the area is fairly monocultural in terms of ground cover and forest plants. Its territory slopes, as it is located at the bottom of the Kálvária hill (colloquially known only as Kálci).

Kálváralja area

This is an elongated area at the base of Kálvária. Several large berry towns were built on its territory, which, unlike the berry towns of the Osztróvia province, here the main building material is not mud but stone. Almost all of it is made up of an oak forest lying on a steep hillside. Scattered junipers can also be found here.

Lendolla area

The origin of its name comes from the word holtmező or Koponya mező, which is derived from the juniper landscape. This is probably due to the fact that this is a hunting area surrounded by hunting ambushes. It is not uncommon to find animal bones in the meadow. In its northernmost part, there is a connected forest consisting of a few trees, but this has no economic significance. Scattered on its large meadow, you can find islands with trees and bushes, which are often visited due to the fruits of hawthorn, rosehip, barberry and sedge. Lendolla's famous and nowadays symbol of the province's rowan tree also beautifies the exceptionally beautiful landscape of the Koponya Mező. This homebrew can be hundreds of years old. A lot of money is demanded in the markets for its unique crop in the country. The taste is tart, and it is usually eaten with ice cream.

Transzkálvária area
It is a religious monument on Mount Kálvária.

Between the two most important areas of Pórfayz, there is a significant passageway. However, it is not rich in services. Its most significant crops are mistletoe and acorns, but there is no significant production of these either. The construction of the first military base in the province began here, which was abandoned at the request of the president, since then some Hungarian gangs appropriated the base. It is one of the first areas that Pórfayz included in its territory. from here, the easiest way to get to the Kalvária area.

Kálvária area

One of the most significant areas is the largest religious monument and the highest point. The number of Catholic Umbers is high in Pórfayz Province, so it is a very important area. its height above sea level is 370 meters. The entire area offers an excellent panorama of beautiful mountains in the north, hills in the south, and you can also see Lake Balaton. It is an extremely popular area for tourists.

Kamennia area

Kamennia is one of the poorest areas of Bolgajna. It is very rarely visited, and there are also few opportunities for this because it is a difficult area to walk. Its production is insignificant. The easiest way to get there is from Lendolla. The easternmost part of Pórfayz.

Kelet Borókaföld area

It is an area of poor production and importance. It is one of the longest preserved areas of the former Duchy of Újborókaföld. An important gateway to the Odenber area. It doesn't have many attractions, but there are some old stone pillars and an old dead tree, which the local neo-traditional movements respect as a holy place.

Odenber area

The origin of its name comes from the Borovick family, who called the town of Makkszeg Odenber. One of the most important areas, with many tourist attractions and Pórfayz's second largest city, Makkszeg. For a short time it was ruled by the Duchy of Újborókaföld, but it was quickly restored to its original form even after the war period.

Rókák-Szigete area

Its name means island of foxes. However, it does not lie on an island. In terms of not significant production, the province of Pórfayz claims it mainly for cultural reasons. A beautiful forest is located in a crater-like depression, which is difficult to access as an enclave. This is the biggest depression in Bolgajna.

Farbannia area

One of the enclave areas of Pórfayz, which offers an extremely unique appearance with its interesting red soil. One of the major research areas of Bolgajna. In prehistoric times there were paint mines in its area. With its special flora, it stands out from many other areas. An important scientific attraction.

Tölgyfajsz area

Pórfayz is the smallest area of the province and includes the capital. Most of the crops in Pórfayz Province are produced here, and this is a sparsely populated area. Approached by a national road from which you can park in three parking lots, the town consists of two residential buildings, a larger warehouse and a few other smaller buildings. Although it is one of the more developed cities of Bolgajna, it is still much poorer than Labor, and its services and infrastructure are also worse.
