The Parliament of Highland, is the unicameral legislature of Highland. Established in 2022, it meets in The Halls of Parliament (doesn't matter what building, any building is called the Halls of Parliament when a parliamentary meeting is taking place there).

History of the parliament
The Parliament of Highland succeeded the United States Congress on 11 July 2022. The parliament is led by the Cainteoir (Speaker) and Leaders of both the Government and Opposition. There are 5 members in the assembly (2 seats vacant).
Speaker
The cainteoir is the presiding officer of the Parliament of Highland. The cainteoir determines which members may speak, and is responsible for maintaining order. On 11 July 2022, The President of Highland appointed Jacob Weber as acting cainteoir. On the 14th of July 2022 Jacob Weber was elected as cainteoir and took office on 12 January 2023 when he turned 18 years of age
