Parsird, officially the Arrondissemnt of Parsrid (Efrasachin: TBD du Parsrid) is one of five Arrondissements of the Efrasachin Empire, as well as the largest city and de facto economic capital. The City is the oldest in the Empire, having existed since before the name "Efransa", when the nation was known as the Kingdom of Floeratia.

Etymology

The name “Parsrid”, like the name of Efransa as a whole, derives from the capitals of France and Spain, Paris, and Madrid. A person from Parsrid is a Parsrisilean.

History

Parsrid used to be located where the modern Soavet is located, and was previously the capital of the empire. In its current form, it was established on April 9, 2021, with the Local Government act and Resolution 1, which moved the capital to Soavet.

Politics and Government

Parsrid is an influential source in elections, and is very progressive like the rest of the nation. The entire Arrondissement Council is Social Labour controlled, while the Mayorship is held by Dowager King Ethan, the National Front-Speaker of the House of Commons.
