Peerage of Bradonia

The Peerage System of Bradonia comprises of peerages created in the Kingdom of Bradonia. The Peerage System of Bradonia is both traditional and contemporary, however, the Peerage System mostly reflects 19th-century values rather than 21st-century values.

Unlike most nobility, the Bradonian Aristocracy is both hereditary and meritocratic, with most subjects being able to gain peerages through acts of merit and hereditary succession. Peerages can either be hereditary or for life, depending on the circumstances of the situation. As in the case of most contemporary forms of peerage, the Bradonian Aristocracy is mostly ceremonial, with the only added privallges being to serve in the House of Peers

Like most modern systems of the peerage, the Bradonian Nobility is mostly ceremonial and hold's little to no extra privileges to that of a regular citizen, with the only responsibilities being the right to hold their title and possible appointment in the Bradonian Privy Council.
