The People's Party & Princian Party of Socialists, initialised as PP&PPS or PPS and abbreviated to the People's Party or Socialists, is a leftist political party and one of the big four parties permitted by the prince to stand for election in the Princian Commonwealth. The PPS was previously two separate parties, the Princian Party of Socialists and the People's Party, until their merger prior to the October 2019 ministerial election. The branch of the PPS active within the Tourstead Area styles itself as the Vanguard Party and uses black & gold as its main colours rather than standard PPS red, though in election results tables it is not afforded these differences and is only displayed as PPS.

The PPS advocates for widespread nationalisation of industries and often cites its greatest achievement to be the creation and subsequent expansion of the Filorux Group S.C., which proved to be a huge success to the Princian people and a viable alternative to modern capitalism. The PPS saw its main rise in popularity during the phenomenon now known as the Great Princian Leftist Swing (Jan 2019-Jan 2020), which saw the previously consistently victorious party, the UDP, lose its first election to the Princian Party of Socialists, and paved the way for the Metropolitan Party's chain of victories.

In terms of political views, the PPS is in a unique position in which it can be described as conservative - in the sense of conserving the current state of affairs that is the dominance of the public sector over the Princian economy and, although it is not currently the case, the illegality of free-market capitalism. The PPS is often described as economically authoritarian yet socially liberal - promoting individual liberties while restricting what the PPS calls the "inevitability of human greed."
