The People's Provisional Government of O'Duighan is the government that succeeded the Great States of O'Duighan after it's dissolution on Ede 57, 1901. It was founded on the same day of the Great State's dissolution, and is merely serving as a stand-in for the nation until a stable government can be formed.

Background

The Great States of O'Duighan was a nation that existed for several months on two separate occasions, first from Ede 37, 1900 to Basemen 42, 1900, and from Frede 51, 1901 to Ede 57, 1901. Each period of existence lasted for exactly 80 days, which adds up to a total of 160 days, or for a little over 3 months. In between those two periods of existence was a series of several unstable governments that quickly fell apart. The Great States would also suffer from instability as well later in it's life during the second period of existence. This was due to the fact that Harold Duighan was extremely busy with numerous things, and was usually unable to run the country. As a result, by Ede 57, 1901, the nation was not doing well. It was not growing, and it had been mostly seen as an unprofessional nation that was not particularly successful in it's endeavors for independence. Whilst Harold was attempting to build an economy in hopes of achieving his goal of gaining independence, he was also creating laughable new government policies and positions, such as the Cing, which led to other nations being reluctant to enter into relations with O'Duighan.

This problem got so bad that Harold's Vice President, Simbach A. Vazo, suggested that he should do something to boost the nation's professionalism if he really wishes to make the nation into a real country. Eventually, Harold decided to make a new constitution, one which would make the nation much more professional, and remove all remnants of the unprofessional government policies. This would lead to the dissolution of the Great States of O'Duighan, and the People's Provisional Government of O'Duighan would be installed as a stand-in for the nation whilst the constitution was drafted.
