Politics of Wegmat

The politics of Wegmat take place within the framework of a federal semi presidentia asymetrical parliament in which the President is the head of state and the Prime minister is the head of government in a multi-party system.

Executive power is vested on the Council of State, which is made up of ministers appointed by the President. Parliament is the federal Legislative branch, it is composed of 7 members that do not represent a single administrative region and represent their party.

Provinces of Wegmat may govern themselves and may pass their own legislation as long as it does not go against the Constitution of Wegmat
