Alsann, formally the Alsann Republic, is a self-proclaimed sovereign nation, often referred to as a micronation by external observers. It is located through the western section of the Australian continent, where it mostly borders Australia with some borders to the sea. It was declared independent on 9 September 2022 from the Commonwealth of Australia. The nation consists of two states, a territory and a federal district, totalling 2,998,730m2. The nation's capital city of Kersika is located within the broader Kersik Federal District.

Since foundation, the Alsann Republic has been a federal republic. Its federal government is known the Concordia, a unity of powers between a legislature (the Federal Council), a judiciary (the Federal Court) and an executive (the Officer-General). Since 9 September, 2022, the Officer-General has been Kalan Cameron del Kersika, often shortened to Officer-General del Kersika.

The Alsann Republic has only informal relations with one other nation, the satellite nation of Melodia. It formally and unilaterally recognises 203 sovereign nations, mostly members of the United Nations.

Kersika, occasionally referred to as the City of Kersika, is the capital city of the Alsann Republic. It is Alsann’s equal-largest city by residents and its largest by citizens. It was founded on 23 August 2022, when the Second Republic reforms were introduced to the Concordian Republic. It is currently governed by the Member for Kersika in the Federal Council, Mackenzie Arra.

The city of Kersika resides on the land of the Whadjuk people, by whom it was looked after for tens of thousands of years. Kersika is Alsann's largest cultural centre. With a number of historic and unique celebrations, it is also a major sports hub, holding the home ground of Kersika City FC at Buffalo Oval and the headquarters of League One. Home to Kersika Academy and the ACMA, it is the seat of power for the Officer-General, and the physical meeting place of the Federal Council.
