The President of the Dale Republic is the highest political position in the Dale Republic. The president of the Dale Republic is elected from the population of the Dale Republic with all candidates being of no party affliction. The position of the president is awarded to the individual that has won the highest number of votes in the latest election, held following the completion of the term of the previous president, meaning that the Dale Republic experiences a period of no presidential authority leading up to the election. Currently the nation is in a period of effective anarchy following the conclusion of the coup d'etet that took place in June–July 2015, following its conclusion no new presidential elections were held due to public disapproval of electing a new individual to the position.
Main purpose
The President has the duties of conducting internal and external affairs. Upon becoming President of the Dale Republic, The President must swear to serve the Dale people, protect and defend the republic and protect the interests of the Dale Republic while conducting affairs with other nations. There is no limit to how many times a person can be a President of the Dale Republic.
Qualifications for office
There are only three requirements to become a President in the Dale Republic:
- Have Dale citizenship.
- Have a generally clean criminal record both in the Dale Republic and the macronation the applicant is from.
- Belong to one of the Dale Republic's political parties.
End of Presidency
The following qualifies for a Presidents end of term:
- Time of Presidency expires,
- Death,
- Voluntary dismissal,
- Permanent inability, due to serious illness,
- Nation wide demand for the president to step down from office
