History
The role of President of the WAA was established on the 23rd of December 2021 to replace the role of Chairman of the WAA as Head of the Wellmoorean Aviation Authority.
Role and Duties
Chair of the Board
The President is the chair of the Board of the WAA and chairs all meetings as well as organising the meetings and selects topics of discussions for the Board.
Appointment
The President is appointed by the Wellmoorean Ministry of Transport on advice of the Board of the WAA, who typically vote on and nominate who they want to have appointed as the next President.
