The Privy Council is a body that advises the Head of State typically in the context of a monarchic government. The word "privy" means "private" or "secret" thus and the Privy Council is originally a committee of the monarch's closest advisors to give confidential advice on state affairs. Its membership is made up of members of the Imperial Family.
The Privy Council itself was founded on 14 January 2017 and has the function of providing non-binding advices to the Monarch on the exercise of the powers and duties of the Throne and on any matter which may be brought by the Monarch to its attention. The Privy Counsellors are appointed to it by the Crown and they have the right of unhindered access to the ear of the Monarch, to impart advice and concerns. The issues which the Council may advise having to do with the government, the entry of new citizens in the political life of the Empire, the throne succession issues, issues related to the extension of the State and in exceptional situations.

By Decree of the Crown on 16 June 2017 the legislative function of the State was transferred from the government to the Privy Council and acquired the official designation of the legislature, on 1 January 2022 after the revision of the constitution.
