RadioMicro Awards

The RadioMicro Awards are a series of awards given to micronationalists of the Community by the RadioMicro Group. These awards were initiated by RadioMicro's host, Anthony Clark, and inspired by J. P. Cole's Micronationalist Awards. The RadioMicro Awards are part of an expansion program of the RadioMicro Group. Clark announced his intention to create the RadioMicro Awards in a post on the Micronation.org forum on 16 August 2015.[1] The awards are redistributed every year.
Categories (main awards)
There are seven main awards. Members of the MicroWiki community nominate and vote for their favored candidates:
Micronationalist of the Year
The Micronationalist of the Year award is reserved for the micronationalist displaying the highest degree of "all-round excellence in the micronational community".[2]
Nominees
The following micronationalists were nominated for the Micronationalist of the Year award:
- Richard I of Mercia;
- Jonathan I of Austenasia;
- Anthony Clark of Mcarthia;
- Michael Ónff of Grémmia;
- Gabriel N. Pelger of Usi.
Most Influential Micronationalist
The Most Influential Micronationalist award is intended to be bestowed upon the one who has "the most influence in the micronational community".[2]
Nominees
The following micronationalists were nominated for the Most Influential Micronationalist award:
- Richard I of Mercia;
- Jonathan I of Austenasia;
- Anthony Clark of Mcarthia.[2]
Jonathan I won the Most Influential Micronationalist award with a landslide majority of 96%.[3][4]
Highest Effort in Micronationalism
The Highest Effort in Micronationalism award is given to the micronationalist who "puts the most effort into developing" their micronation.[2]
Nominees
As of 16 August 2015, the following micronationalists have been nominated for the Highest Effort in Micronationalism award:
- Jackson P. Cole of the KUR;
- Anthony Clark of Mcarthia;
- John I of Loquntia;
- Gabriel N. Pelger of Usi;
- Patrick I of Paravia;
- Richard I of Mercia;
- Mike Lewis of Lundenwic;
- Bailey McCahon of Covanellis.[2]
Anthony Clark, host of RadioMicro, was voted the winner of the Highest Effort in Micronationalism award.[3]
Most Support in Micronationalism
The Most Support in Micronationalism award goes to the micronationalist who "provides the most support to others in the community".[2]
Nominees
The following micronationalists were nominated for the Most Support in Micronationalism award:
- Christopher Woods of Qualia;
- James Frisch of the Beaconite Empire;
- Michael Ónff of Grémmia;
- Leon Williamson of Nolland;
- Mattias Kocjek of Bàn Mìr.
- Steve of ;
- Pende Johannes of Saxmark;
- Gabriel N. Pelger of Usi.[2]
The award was bestowed on Micheal Ònff.[3]
Most Cultural Micronationalist
The Most Cultural Micronationalist Award is reserved for the micronationalist who "promoted and generated the best, most in-depth culture in their micronation".
Nominees
The following micronationalists were nominated for the Most Cultural Micronationalist award:
- Anthony Clark of Mcarthia;
- Jackson P. Cole of the KUR;
- Richard I of Mercia;
- Jonathan I of Austenasia.
- David "Sarky" Sarkozy of Delvera;
- Nikias Wernher of Delvera;
- Oscar I of Ruthenia;
- Pende Johannes of Saxmark.[2]
By winning the Most Cultural Micronationalist award, Jonathan I became the only micronationalist to win more than one main award.[3]
Best Micronationalist Organization
This award goes to a "relatively long-lived organization that has [had] a positive impact on the community".
Nominees
The following micronational organizations were nominated for the Best Micronationalist Organization award:
- SkillsShare;
- the Nollandish Confederacy;
- the International of Left-wing Parties;
- the International Conservative;
- the RadioMicro Group;
- the Knights Exemplar.
The Nollandish Confederacy was voted the best micronational organization.
Best Political System
The Best Political System award is bestowed on the one who "created/runs the best, most efficient government and political system".
Nominees
The following micronationalists were nominated for the Best Political System award:
- Richard I of Mercia;
- Jonathan I of Austenasia;
- Adam I of Adammia;
- Thomas I of Nolland;
- Mike Lewis of Lundenwic;
- Anthony Clark of Mcarthia;
- Mattias Kocjek of Bàn Mìr.
The Best Political System award was bestowed on Thomas I.

Prizes
Recipients of the awards are presented with a certificate, an opportunity to appear on Radio Micro, and inducted into the RadioMicro Hall of Fame.
Reception
The Community responded overwhelmingly well to the announcement of the RadioMicro Awards.
