The Republic of Aglaria is a micronation located within the United Kingdom. Aglaria has considered itself a "sovereign state" since it was founded.
History
The republic was established on 26 November 2022 under a presidential republic system. However, it was shifted into a dictatorship following a similar style of governance to the Republic of Molossia.
On 26 November 2022, a large number of national institutions were established including many government institutions.
Government and Politics
Aglaria is de jure a presidential republic, with provisions for a bicameral Congress of the Republic (formerly being unicameral) to serve as the legislative branch of government - consisting of a senate and a chamber of deputies. However, the nation is under a dictatorship with the president holding near absolute power being supported by the government.

National Symbols
The primary national symbol of the republic is the nation's flag. It consists of three stripes. The blue representing national identity, white representing the government and the yellow representing the people.
Economy
Aglaria's economy is a developing one. The national currency is called Arkade and is overseen by the national bank and the governmental treasury. The chancellor of the treasury plays an important role in managing the national economy.
