The Republic of Autrytania, more commonly known as Autrytania, is a micronation in Madison County, Missouri. It is near Mark Twain National Forest. It was founded on June 27, 2020 by William N. Autry.
Etymology
The name Autrytania is a mix of the surname Autry, which is the surname of the founder, and the surname Twain, since it is located in Mark Twain National Forest.
History
On June 27, 2020, William N. Autry discovered the story of Sealand, which inspired him to make his own micronation. He declared himself President and declared his best friend Daniel Hansen the Vice President.
On July 27, 2020, Hansen resigned from the position of Vice President.
Politics and government
Currently, Autrytania is run by just the President and Vice President, but both the President and Vice President plan to create a House of Representatives soon.
