Eneria, officially the Republic of Eneria, was a state referred to by foreign observers as a micronation. It was located in the Mid-Atlantic region of North America, covering 2.3 miles of forested land. It was populated by 18 citizens. The nation's capital was Oakfast and largest city was Petersburg. In July 2021, it reformed into the Green Valley Republic

Before Eneria was a micronation, it was a small settlement created in early April 2021 by three friends where they could hang out and relax. Eventually after tensions in the USA grew, they began to seek independence and formed the small tents and dugouts that they placed to keep cool in the summer into a Republic on the tenth of April, 2021.

Eneria was a mostly neutral republic, and allies New Rhodesia, Banda, and Libertas. They supported the New Limbonian Republic in their protest for independence from Novus Hierosolymis. They applied for statehood in the MicroUN on May 24, 2021.

Etymology

Nation Eneria was a mixture of the word Ener, the nationality and culture that inhabits the nation, and -ia, the suffix meaning "Land of."

States Maltasia was a blend of the German word for times, memories if you will, and Tasia, the mix the Latvian word Ta, meaning this, and ia, meaning land.

Duranzia was a blend of the name of one of the president's grandfathers and the latin suffix -ia.

Mangustia was a blend of a word that sounds like Mongoose and the latin suffix -ia, meaning land.

Kursia had no Etymology, it sounded like Persia so the presidents incorporated it.

North and South Aresia meant "land of war."

Karakeli sounded like Caracal, the national animal.

Nordonia Pilina had no etymology.

Outer Nordonia was the outside of Nordonia, thus it's name.

History

In the summer of 2019, a man going by the alias N.A Peach began to construct a treehouse on the land where Eneria is today, when winter came, he abandoned it. In late March 2021, a group of friends got the idea to build a treehouse in uninhabited land not too far from their neighborhood. By early April they got the tools and resources needed and began to settle the land. But instead of reconstructing the treehouse, they began to dug dens and cover them with tarp. Construction ended sometime around the 20's in April 2021.

Peach's settlement of Maltasia

During the summer of 2019, N.A Peach began to transport plywood, tarp, and tools, to uninhabited, unused land nearby. He constructed the treehouse but only got halfway before the harsh winter of 2020 flooded him out, and he lost many supplies to the melting of blizzards. By 2021, S.B Rens and D.N Daniele met with Peach to begin reconstruction. This land would later become Maltasia.

First Settlement

In late March 2021, when the heat finally began to come back, the three discovered a hole. This gave Daniele a grand idea, to dig out a den, and thus they did. The first few days they only had a single shovel and thus it was more difficult to dig out. Around April 11 is when they got a second shovel. By late April the first shelter was finished.

Establishment of Eneria

April 10, 2021, while the land was still being settled, the three pioneers formed these small settlements and places to hang out into a sovereign nation.

The battle of Boots

In late May 2021, a dispute over a cat named Boots began between the government of Eneria and American Locals. The locals had found boots escaped his home, and kept and fed him. When the government backtracked boots to their house, there was a small dispute over if they should let the cat stay. The case was settled with Peach thanking the locals and taking boots back.

Annexation of Nordonia Pilina

Shortly after the battle of boots, Eneria annexed nearly two miles of wetlands just south of the Mainland, called Nordonia Pilina governed by Governor Nathan Schwip. It became a valuable part of the republic and has the most fortifications of any landmass.

Conquest of Outer Nordonia

Mere days into the establishment of Nordonia, locals were spotted occupying land bordering Nordonia that Eneria had claims on. A silent war commenced between the two forces. Formation of the Ryanean language and Enerian Culture

From late May 2021 to July 5, Eneria experienced a great development and cultural growth, with the formation of their own conlang, holidays, and government.

End of Eneria

Eneria ended on July 5, 2021. It reformed into the Green Valley Republic. Eneria is now a city in the nation.

Threats

Although Eneria was neutral, threats both manmade and natural still occured on the daily basis.

Deforestation

Eneria is located in a delicate forest, which was located to a small development. Although proof of past development of the area being attempted and eventually failing is existent, it does not mean they will not try again. In early June there were reports of the sounds of trucks and construction coming from near the forest, and attempts to investigate were ended shortly after being unable to access the land.

Government

The government of Eneria was split into two departments, that being the Administrative and Respective branches. The Administrative represents the higher classes of the governments, like Presidents and Governors, whereas Respective are more local and smaller classes of governments.

Law and Order

Generally in Eneria, law enforcement in the military came hand in hand. The PKU, Peace Keeping Unit, acted as the mainland’s police force and guard. The military functioned as defense and an expansive force only. Eneria was split into eight states, that being.

The geography of Eneria was mostly woodland with some flatland and wetland in the southern territory.

Economy

The average income in Eneria was 15 dollars a week, or roughly 21 Finasiers. They exported paid volunteers.

International Relations

The Republic of Eneria was allied to New Rhodesia, Floriland, Banda, New Limbonia, and Libertas. They were working towards allying the Kingdom of Woria. They were a member of the Micro UN.
