The Riksdag of Neuborrnia-Merientalia is the legislative body of the government of Neuborrnia-Merientalia. By law, it is the upper chamber of the congress of Neuborrnia-Merientalia.
History
The first Riksdag was first established in 2019 during the Republic of Pejaten post 2019 Pejatenian Elections. It consisted of members chosen to be sent by party, with the amount of seats won dependent on the percentage of the popular vote.
Procedures
According to the Constitution of Neuborrnia-Merientalia, "The Parliament proposes bills for the nation". This line of the constitution was deepened in the NGIW Title 2 Section C: "Riksdag is the collection of officials appointed by votes, responsible for the duties of the proposal of laws, of spending and budget, of and of policies in resolutions."
Riksdag issues resolutions consisting of proposed laws, budgets, and policies in some cases to be passed on to the Presidential office to implement laws, or straightly into every citizen to be ratified.
