The Most Esteemed Royal Family Order of Beltola (Hindi: परम प्रतिष्ठित दर्ज़ह राजकुटुंभ बेलटोला, Param Pratishthit Darjah Rajkutumbha Beltola) is the highest chivalric and dynastic order of the state of Beltola which is conferred by the Rajpramukh of Beltola, as the head of the House of Patranabish which is the current ruling house of the state. It was constituted on 12 July 2021 by the Rajpramukh of Beltola Tanishkaa Patranabish.

History

The Royal Family Order of Beltola was constituted by Tanishkaa Patranabish, Rajpramukh of Beltola as the highest dynastic and chivalric order of the state of Beltola on 12 July 2021 on the advice of her cousin Varuna Sriraya, the Rajpramukh of Purvanchal. The order was established alongside the Order of Loyalty to the Crown of Beltola which is the second highest order of the state. Beltola became the third state to establish its own set of honours after Kamrupa and Purvanchal.

Grades, criteria, and insignias

Grades

The Royal Family Order of Beltola or Darjah Rajkutumbha Beltola is awarded in two member classes:

  • First Class or Darjah Prathama Rajkutumbha Beltola - D.K. I
  • Second Class or Darjah Prathama Rajkutumbha Beltola - D.K. II

Criteria

  • The First Class is conferred on the Rajpramukh, their consort, the heir apparent, parents and siblings of the Rajpramukh and other senior members of the royal family, rulers of the other states of Vishwamitra and on foreign monarchs. The order is conferred as a sign of respect and friendship with the Rajpramukh.
  • The Second Class is conferred on the junior members of the royal family, members of the other royal families of Vishwamitra, foreign monarchs, their consorts, members of foreign royal families. High state officers who have contributed excellent services to the Rajpramukh or the state are also eligible to receive this grade of the order. The order is conferred as a sign of respect and fellowship with the Rajpramukh.

Insignias

  • The riband of the two grades of the order have different insignias:
    • First Class: a silk band, yellow in colour with two vertical white stripes at the corners.
    • Second Class: a silk band, yellow in colour with a white central stripe.

The sash of the Royal Family Order of Beltola is worn from the left shoulder to the right waist.
