The Sancratosian Aerospace Agency, officially the Aerospace Agency of Sancratosia or AAS (Lingua Franca Nova: Ajenteria airospasial de Sancratosia) is the governmental agency responsible for the administration of aerospace research in the Principality of Sancratosia.

It is an agency responsible to the Ministry of Economy under the Department of Innovation.

The AAS represents the Principality in the International Aerospace Community.

History

The agency was created on 10 April 2022 (2022-04-10) with a specific mandate on research.

Since 17 June 2022 (2022-06-17), the AAS represents Sancratosia in the International Aerospace Community.

Programs and missions

Oserva program

The Oserva program is dedicated to projects destined to participate in Earth-based aerospace experiments mainly through observation and participating in SETI@home volunteer computing network.

2024 Solar eclipse

AAS emblem designed to highlight the total solar eclipse of 2024 over Sancratosia.

The AAS was behind the organization of the 2024 total solar eclipse observation day in Sancratosia. The total eclipse is the first one over Sancratosia since 1932 and the last one until 15 July 2205 (2205-07-15).[1]

Lansa program

The Lansa program is focused on the development of rocket launching missions.
