The Second Lady of Thulicia is a senior member of the second family, typically the wife of the Prime Minister of Thulicia, concurrent with the prime minister's term in office. She figures prominently in the political and social life of the republic.
Role
The position of the second lady is not an elected one and carries only ceremonial duties. She is, first and foremost, the hostess of the Prime Ministerial Residence. She organises and attends official ceremonies and functions of state either along with, or in place of, the prime minister. Second ladies, alongside the First Lady of Thulicia select specific causes to promote, usually ones that are not politically divisive.
