The Sentinel to the Lord President of the Democratic Union of British States was a position within the executive branch of the government of the Democratic Union of British States. An appointee of the Lord President, they served as the chief advisor and chief strategist of the Lord President, as well as being nominally at the top of the line of succession should the Lord President be incapacitated as a result of being impeached, incapacitated or otherwise rendered incapable of executing the office legally or otherwise. The office was declared unconstitutional, as it took away the position of Lord Vice President at the top of the succession line.

Unlike the executive cabinet appointed by the Lord President, appointments to and dismissals from the office of Sentinel did not require approval from the House of Representatives.

Angela, Daedric Prince of Darkness was appointed as Horatio Eden's Sentinel on the 17th of February, 2017, and left office when the office was declared unconstitutional on the 13th of April, 2017.
