The Slinky Treasury holds all the money in the Slinky Empyre. The original profit was 0.3 USD, but the minimum income has been greatly increased since then.

The location of the Treasury is kept confidential from everyone who is not a Slinky treasurer.
2009 government shutdown
From February to May 2009, a government shutdown of the Slinky Empyre was in effect due to the near bankruptcy of one treasurer, who was taken to the first Slinky court case. The result was a government shutdown until the debt was paid off by that treasurer. Now, the president of the treasury has modified the minimum income to prevent another shutdown in the future.
