The Socialist Union of Nemkhavia and Pristinia (SUNP or simply Socialist Union) (de: Sozialistische Union von der Nemkawei und Pristinien, fr: Union Socialiste de la Nemcavie et du Pristine) is a globally situated, territorial micronation founded originally on January 31st 2010. It serves as a union of its predecessors, the Socialist Federal Republic of Nemkhavia and the Autonomous Socialist Republic of Pristinia. Currently, the only party, but not the only allowed party, in the SUNP is the League of Liberal Leftists.

The SUNP is an active member of the MicroWiki Community and the Organisation of Active Micronations, noted for its condemnation of what it perceives to be dishonest and deceitful states, most notably the Zonian Confederacy (see Zonian Conflict). The People's Government of the SUNP believes firmly in the principles of Dresnerism and, thus, takes a politically liberal, but economically socialist stance in most if not all of its doings. Since the SUNP's founding, it has been involved quite actively in intermicronational diplomatic affairs. Most citizens regard the SUNP as a bastion of freedom and a defender of peace.

On 13 March 2010 Nemkhavia left the Union, temporarily creating the "Socialist Republic of Pristinia", which was to become the "United Federation of Socialist Micronations" shortly after.

Nemkhavia

The Union Territories of Nemkhavia are the areas of the SUNP in which the Nemkhav people reside. It is made up of the old territories of the fomer Socialist Federal Republic of Nemkhavia. It is home to many sites of interest, both to the current incarnation of the nation and it's predecessors.

The capital of the UTN is Astor Impora, cultural and historical capital city of the Nemkhavs. It contains the Department of State of the SUNP, the Office of the Adjutant-in-Chief of the Socialist Union Defense Forces and the National Archive of Nemkhavia (a subsidiary of the People's Academy of Pristinia.

Administrative Divisions

The UTN is divided into Provinces and then further divided into Counties and Boroughs.

Bosja Province is the largest Province in the Territories, and contains a large portion of the Union's Nemkhav citizens. It is the official successor to the Republic of Bosja, one of the old constitutent Republics of the SFR Nemkhavia. The capital of Bosja is the commercial city of Cernograd, which is the centre of all business for the area known as Greater Nemkhavia.

Nemkhav-Skajacka Province is the political centre of Nemkhavia. The entire province is dedicated towards the running of the Territories, and also contains the capital of the UTN and co-capital of the SUNP, Astor Impora. It is one of the smallest territories of the UTN, but remains the most important.

Lestaja Province is a large area of countryside to the south of Bosja. It is fully dedicated to nature and the persuit of all things outdoors. It is home to David's Wood, which is a large area of forest. It is also home to Mount Khaterina, the highest peak of Nemkhavia. It's capital is Dresner Station.

Cooley Province is the most northerly territory of Nemkhavia. It, like Lestaja, is a province of countryside. It is home to the town of Davor Glasja and the Makjevicska National Park.
