History

Role in the 2019 Seybold Civil War Threats

On 8 March 2019, Maxmillian Joseph, leader of the newly founded radicalist Stalinist Party of Seybold, announced that he was considering declaring a “civil war” on the majority of political parties in the Democratic Republic of Seybold. The reason that “majority” was said was that the Socialist Party of Seybold sided with the Stalinist Party, due to similar ideologies and political placement. President Cooper Norfolk and other government members initially did not take this announcement seriously, but Mr. Joseph started saying rude statements to him and other government members related to the “civil war”. This frightened President Cooper Norfolk, making him re-think his previous initial reaction to this “declaration of civil war”. “I knew that Mr. Joseph is strong enough to fight a war, as he has previously defended himself in multiple previous fights,” said President Cooper Norfolk in a statement. “But I personally do not think he would have the social strength to gather support in the Democratic Republic of Seybold.” President Cooper Norfolk seemed to be slightly scared of Mr. Joseph, but President Cooper Norfolk did believe that he may have had more social and political knowledge than Mr. Joseph contained. Overall, this made President Cooper Norfolk very uncomfortable with the ongoing situation. On 9 March 2019, the leader of the Stalinist Party of Seybold Maxmillian Joseph released a short statement to President Cooper Norfolk relating to the "Civil War" declaration previously made by him. In the statement, Mr. Joseph claimed that he reconsidered his choice to declare "war" against multiple political parties in the Democratic Republic of Seybold and decided not to declare a "war" on the majority of political parties of the Democratic Republic of Seybold. This surprised President Cooper Norfolk so much that he did not initially believe him. But, Mr. Joseph did seem to sincerely want to put an end to the "civil war" threats that he had been using in the previous day. President Cooper Norfolk was relieved when he heard this new development. He did not want to have to fight anyone, even though he thought he could stop the "civil war" with a simple discussion. When Seybold Today tried to ask Mr. Joseph what he thought about the "civil war" threats coming to an end, he refused to answer except for saying "okay" and "alrighty" after we apologized for bothering him. President Cooper Norfolk believes that Maxmillian Joseph stopped the "civil war" threats due to not wanting to be confrontational. But, he admits that he can not speak for Maxmillian Joseph, but that he what he believes what went through Mr. Joseph mind during this time. Maxmillian Joseph may still be required to attend court for treason and/or conspiring against the government. He will not be prosecuted unless President Cooper Norfolk and/or Iyan Seeker, the two government members most affected by this, want to prosecute him. "I definitely would like to prosecute Mr. Joseph," said President Cooper Norfolk in a statement released to the Seybold Today newspaper. "He put me and other government members through a situation that I do not want to go through again. I had to sacrifice personal time to write an extra long newspaper article, create an Emergency Council and hold a meeting under that Emergency Council." Maxmillian Joseph will most likely not have a court hearing until September or October 2019, when a court of sorts has been approved to be created and a judge is appointed to the court. The court that Mr. Joseph will most likely have a case it would be a High Court, which Seybold currently does not have. Despite that, Iyan Seeker and President Cooper Norfolk do want to have Maxmillian Joseph punished for his crimes. His punishment will probably either be a direct 5% tax on whatever his pay is at for five months, house arrest, deportation, or even some form of imprisonment, but that is too radical.

Merging With the Socialist Party

On 10 March 2019, the leader of the Socialist Party of Seybold announced one of the largest announcements of Seyboldish political history. Bodhi Keourac, who was the leader of the Socialist Party of Seybold, announced that his party would be merging with the newly founded Stalinist Party of Seybold. Even though Bodhi Keourac could not give us a statement on the reason of the merging, but the public guess is that they merged because of similar opinions in the 2019 Seybold Civil War Threat and overall similar political placement on the political spectrum. Overall, the merger shocked the majority of government members of the Democratic Republic of Seybold. President Cooper Norfolk personally was not shocked by the merger, as he said the quote, “saw it coming from a while away”, meaning that he was expected that they would merge. His opinion is most likely based on the fact that they sided with each other during the Seybold Civil War Threats and that the leaders of the parties have similar ideologies, both radicalist ideologies of course. The new name of the merged political party is the Stalin-Socialism Party of Seybold. It was named that way because two main ideologies of each political party, Stalinism and Socialism, have been combined. The party name should not affect the overall appearance of the political party, but it still is a notable change. The leader of the party is still Maxmillian Joseph, meaning the Bodhi Keourac has no power in the political world of the Democratic Republic of Seybold anymore, which he most likely does not mind whatsoever. The new ideologies of the Stalin-Socialism Party of Seybold are relatively the same as they were under the Stalinist Party, but there are some changes. The new ideologies of the Stalin-Socialism Party of Seybold are Stalinism, Environmentalism, Social Liberalism, and the newly added Eco-Socialism, which was once a political ideology of the Socialist Party of Seybold. The logo of the Stalin-Socialism Party of Seybold is exactly the same logo as the Stalinist Party of Seybold except for the fact that the name on the logo has changed to the Stalin-Socialism Party of Seybold. The new political party now has two members, making it the third largest political party in the Democratic Republic of Seybold. In a statement to the Seybold Today newspaper, party leader Maxmillian Joseph said quote, ” The [leader of the Socialist Party] is a good boy”, somewhat unprofessionally. Maxmillian Joseph is overall happy about the merging of the two political parties.
