The Technocracy of McMahon is an absolute technocracy ruled by Balls McSmith. The nation was founded in 2020.
History
The Technocracy of McMahon was founded by Balls McSmith (a qualified string trimmer mechanic) in 2020 after he 'discovered' the park whilst walking to his work. He immediately declared himself 'master of all technology and great president'. He subsequently quit his job as a whipper snipper mechanic and 'moved' to the JV McMahon Reserve. Police were called by concerned neighbours about a 'squatter' in the reserve, police subsequently arrested Balls McSmith but did not press charges. He went back to the park in the same day. He also discovered that day that his 'technocracy' bordered the Mugahan Rump State led by Hummus McDonnell. Upon learning this information he declared war on Mugahan Rump State and attempted to invade. He was repelled by Badu Parkian troops stationed in Mugahan. Upon learning of the Technocracy of McMahon Japitty Cumquat invited him to join the war on the Empire of Douglas Grant Park. Balls McSmith accept this invitation and renounced his declaration of war on Mugahan. However, by joining the war on the Empire of Douglas Grant Park, the Technocracy of McMahon incurred the wrath of the Republic of Xahastan who subsequently sent there MiG-23 to strafe and bomb the technocracy. The only effect that the bombing had was that it destroyed Balls McSmith's Coles Brand Whipper Snipper.
Politics
The Technocracy of McMahon is an absolute technocracy, which means that the government or control of society or industry is done by an elite of technical experts. Balls McSmith considers himself to be a master of technology, despite barely knowing how to fix cheap whipper snippers. A friend of Balls McSmith once stated: "I don't know how he can consider himself to be a master of technology when he can't even fix a kettle."
Military
The Technocratic Defence Force consists of only one soldier: Balls McSmith. The TDF also operates one lawnmower with a plastic chair taped to the top of it, Balls McSmith considers this to be the 'peak of his technological genius'.
