The End is a found-footage film based around the ideas of the end of the world, the extinction of humanity, and the breakdown of civilization. It was written by Max Rowher and Charles Madgett. This stars Charles Madgett and Prince Madgett, while initially Elarian-Kakatoan star Max Rowher was going to debut. The film is a part of a new series revolving around the effects of supernatural cosmic events. It was distributed by ACBIC Media, the rights to the film belong to ACBIC Media, but have been given to Chosen1 for the sub sequential sequels, with the TV series still maintained by ACBIC Media.

Plot

The film is surrounding the effects on Earth of a supernova occurring 40 light years away. In the film, 90% of humanity is directly effected by the supernova, those humans become autocannibalistic, the urge to eat oneself. They also begin to generate fumes from their ears that are invisible to human eyes and are not harmful to those effected by the supernova. Across the world, civilization breaks down and a purge-like scenario ensues, with a majority of world governments collapsing.

Production

The movie was filmed in one day and post production was done in 2 hours. Scripts were written for the second and third films, however The End was filmed with no script and on the spot voice work. Small transcripts have been leaked regarding the production of the movie.

Reception

The public who viewed the movie as part of the Elarian Film Night had mixed reviews, with some critical points regarding one human actor, being Charles Madgett who was the only actor with speaking roles and held numerous characters. Those who had enjoyed it were appreciative of the story-telling and somewhat clean editing.

Sequels

Rights to the End Times film series was given to Chosen1 for the creation of the second, third, and fourth films. The films will all be directed from 2021-2022.

On December 7, a document was shared that stated that on the 10th, the Elarian "End Times" IP will be granted to Ekarato Films for 5 months, the reasoning for this is unknown.

The End 2 (Known under the name The End: Martian Times in Ela'r'oech and the United States) is the second movie in the "End Times" film series about the effects the supernova had on aliens. It will be released in 2021 worldwide.

The End 3 (Known under the name The End: Alternating Worlds in Ela'r'oech and the United States) is the third movie in the "End Times" film series. It will be about the effects the supernova had on a parallel universe about 25 light years away where Neanderthals and Humans co-exist peacefully. It will be released in 2021 worldwide.

The End Times is the fourth and final movie in the "End Times" film series. Half of the film is about the Earth one year after the supernova had occurred, another half was about the Earth 50 years after, when the supernova finally stops directly effecting the Earth. It will be released in 2021 in the EFN and 2022 in Ela'r'oech, then 2023 worldwide.

ACBIC Original Series

A made-for-streaming series has been pitched to ACBIC. The reception of the first movie will decide whether the series is produced, however based on the reception of the staff it seems the series will be ordered for 1 season for 10 episodes. The series will go over the life of Lucas Warpon, a 10 year old experiencing the events alone after his parents are instantaneously murdered due to their position on the Earth at the time. He will be forced to try and defeat his cannibalistic urges and more as he faces the threat the supernova poses to his life.
