The Progressive Party - Unionists (French: Parti Progressiste – Les Unionistes; Italian: Partito Progressista - Gli Unionisti; often abbreviated as PP-U) is a social democratic, labor and progressive party of St.Charlie, after the Unionist Movement.
Originally a part of the Republic of Saint-Castin, the party was founded on 1 July 2014 following the merger of the Movement for Pluralist Democracy and the Association of the Left that were created as two weeks ago. On 16 September 2014, date of incorporation of the Autonomous Province of St.Castin to the Federal Republic of St. Charlie, the party engaged in an alliance with the New Socialist Party while maintaining full autonomy. The Progressive Party is part of the right wing of the party.
On 11 October 2014, Specter announced Dominic Desaintes leader of the PP as a fifth candidate of the Socialist list. For the first time in the history of the Federal Republic of St.Charlie, the new socialist party has a candidate of a party ally on its electoral list.
