There are no current inhabitants of Tinakula Island due to the failure of previous attempts to start a settlement there.

Tinakula Island, under the Republic, is managed by an elected Governor. The governor typically forms a council to aid them in their job as governor.

Geography

The Island is volcanic and has erupted a number of times including in 1840, 1951 and 1971.
