The Tinakulan Cross (Cruz de Tinakulan) (TC) is the highest and most prestigious award in the Tinakulan Honours System. The Tinakulan Cross is awarded for Extreme Acts of Bravery or Devotion to Duty in the Face of the Enemy, therefore only typically is achieveable by deployed members of the Defence Force of Tinakula but is awarded to those of any rank.

The Tinakulan Cross was established on the 27th of November 2021 as the first and highest award in the Tinakulan Honours System.

Award Process

Typically a Commissioned Officer in the Defence Force of Tinakula submits a request for the Cross to be awarded. It's then reviewed by the Minister of Defence and senior Defence Force Staff. Once it's then approved then the awardee will be awarded the cross by one of the Presidents of Tinakula.
