The Trade Council is the second governing body of the Micronational Trade Organization. It is composed of delegates, usually ambassadors or commissioners, appointed by the governments of their respective countries to act on behalf of the Ministerial Council. The Trade Council is responsible for managing the day-to-day work and elects the Director-General of the Micronational Trade Organization from among its peers for 1-year terms. Actions by the Trade Council may be overruled or vetoed, if not by future actions of its own, only by the Ministerial Council, while the Director-General cannot interfere in the work of the Trade Council and the council's decisions do not require its approval.
