Turning Point Essexia, often abbreviated to TPE or Turning Point, was a political party in the Commonwealth of Essexia. It was created on the 19th May 2020 as a re-brand of the Old Guard Party, but dissolved on the 13th October 2020 when it merged back into the Royalists. The party was a member of the political alliance the Giraffe Concordat.

History

TPE was founded on the afternoon of the 19th May 2020, when Princess Becky (The Lady Commissar of the Old Guard Party) announced the re-brand. It had been masterminded by Lord Jack of Essexia, who also designed the logo.

It saw little development as a whole during it's >5 months in existence. It was among the first parties to appoint a female leader, and remained an ambiguity for most of its lifetime. TPE merged back into the Royalist Party of Essexia on the 13th October 2020 after brief negotiations, in order to better consolidate legislative power.
