The United Kingdoms of AAAWWUBBIS and FANBOYS, known commonly as AAAWWUBBIS, is either a micronation or a nanonation that declared independence on 29 January 2022. The nation claims land in New Jersey as well as in Scotland. However, it has been falling into inactivity recently and now functions more of like an organization.

Etymology

AAAWWUBBIS stands for As, Although, After, While, When, Unless, Because, Before, If, Since: the primary English subordinating conjunctions; and FANBOYS stands for For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So: English's primary coördinating conjunctions. The nation was formed in an English classroom and was named this for an unknown reason. However, due to the name, the English teacher of the founding students joined the nation.

History

AAAWWUBBIS was started around the end of January 2022 by a group of Honors English students in grade 6. This eventually transformed into a micronation which was wrongly interpreted by Emperor Eshaan I as a threat to his own micronation, the Imperial Republic of Timonoucitiland. He later would publicly acknowledge on 12 December 2022 that it was in fact a joke and not a threat and his apology was accepted by the citizens. Additionally, AAAWWUBBIS citizens were accepted as Timonoucitian citizens on the condition that other Timonoucitians would not be considered AAAWWUBBIan outcasts.

In modern times, AAAWWUBBIS functions as an organization with many subsidaries. The most active of these subsidaries is the University of AAAWWUBBIS, in which most citizens do some sort of work in.
