The United Revolutionary Front is a political party originating from a social movement created in the aftermath of the June 2013 protests in Jucărești[1] with the aim of toppling the government of Fram Jucărescu and change the government in the state of Jucărești. The movement also aimed for a greater autonomy of Jucărești from the Juclandian central government, as well as the union of Jucărești with Culinar and Floral to form a single state.

The movement has been considered to be nationalist and populist, its informal leadership considering Juclandia a superior nation. Some of its members have advocated a unique economic system for Juclandia, characterising the Juclandian nation as unique. Most of its members oppose further immigration and claim that the current pro-immigration policy of the government harms the nation.

The United Revolutionary Front competed in local elections in all Juclandian plush states: Jucărești, Floral and Culinar, and has won a majority of votes in each state. It is currently the sole governing party of these three states, holding both the Premierships and qualified majorities of 2/3rds in the legislative assemblies.

On 7 June 2015 the United Revolutionary Front transitioned from a political alliance to a political party and absorbed the Socialist Christian-Democratic Party and the Democratic Party.

History

The Front was formed during the protests in Jucărești in June 2013, started against Fram Jucărescu and the General Council of Jucărești, the province's legislative assembly. During the street protests, a declaration has been signed by 49 citizens[2] taking part at the protest. It is thus considered to have been the biggest social movement in the history of Juclandia, having about 25% of the country's population.

In April 2014, the movement was transformed into a political alliance between independent politicians, the Democratic Party and the Socialist Christian-Democratic Party, under the leadership of Gori Jucărescu.[3]
