History
Republic Antarctic Islands
September 22, 2016, the Republic of Antarctic Islands was formed. It was chosen form of government - Presidential Republic. Due to the lack of formation of Parliament of the Republic was abolished.
United States of Antarctic Islands
October 7, 2016 the United States of Antarctic Islands was formed. October 10, 2016 the United States of Antarctic Islands Parliament was created. The first elections will be held in USAI Parliament - January 27, 2017. The form of government was left - Presidential republic. United States of Antarctic Islands presidential election will be held January 29, 2017. They will be elected first President United States of Antarctic Islands. Parliament is hoping to join the AMU.

The first USAI President to be elected January 29, 2017, and members of the Parliament January 27, 2017. 10 congressman and 20 senators. In the USAI is dominated by two political parties. The Conservative party USAI and the New party USAI.
USAI Parliament election 27 Jan 2017
27 Jan 2017. 20:00 Central Antarctic time over elections to the Parliament USAI. In the Senate of 65% or 13 seats were won Conservative party USAI. In the Senate 35% or 7 seats received a New Party USAI. The same result and in Congress. 70% or 7 seats was won by the Conservative party USAI. 30% or 3 seats received a New Party USAI.
