The Urielandish calendar is the current dating system in the Empire of Urielandia and its territories. It replaced the Gregorian calendar, which had been implemented between 2010 and 2019. The year starts counting from the year 2010 (which has been the year Urielandia was founded as a micronation) onwards (i.e: 2021 in the Gregorian calendar, is known as the Year 11 in the Urielandish Calendar). The year in Urielandia, with this calendar, is divided in 13 months.

Origin of the calendar

The urielandish calendar started as an idea, right after the Empire of Urielandia decided to break diplomatic relationships with the Vatican State via Twitter, where an anonymous person (who claimed to be Pope Francis) excommunicated the country for no reason whatsoever. Afterwards, the Catholic Church of Urielandia continued operating but under the religious jurisdiction of the Catholic State of Pascrito and the emperor Uriel I decided to implement the new dating system.

Structure of the calendar

The year in the Urielandish Calendar is divided in the following order: Anerum, Febraris, Mersa, Aprilos, Maiu, Iani, Iulis, Egosti, Siptambre, Octabre, Navimbre, Inverimus and Earelis. Earelis has only 10 days.

The years are measured in the following table, where the year as it appears in the Gregorian Calendar is on the right side, with their respective Urielandish year on the left side. To convert the dates from Gregorian Calendar to the Urielandish Calendar (2010 onwards); subtract the year 2009.
