The Vishwamitra-Ikonia relations (French: Vishwamitra-Ikonie relations, Hindi: विश्वामित्र-आईकोनिया संबंध) refer to the bilateral relations between the State of Vishwamitra and the Kingdom of Ikonia. The official bilateral and diplomatic relations between Vishwamitra and Ebenthal were opened on 6 August 2020 following the signing of a treaty of mutual sovereignty recognition. The treaty established the beginning of the special and prosperous relations between the two nations. Ikonia was the first nation to have established bilateral relations with Vishwamitra following Vishwamitra's joining the MicroWiki community on 5 August 2020 and also the first Grand Unified Micronational member-nation to have ties with Vishwamitra. Ikonia established an honorary consulate-general in Vishwamitra on 21 April 2021 which opened a new chapter in the relations of the two nations. Vishwamitra reciprocated the move by establishing an embassy in Ikonia on 25 April 2021.

History
The government of Vishwamitra under Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya established a contact with the King Abrams I of Ikonia on the morning of 6 August 2020, the day after Vishwamitra's joining the MicroWiki Community. In their first meeting, the two leaders introduced each other to their respective nations and both nations having met their respective criteria for establishing bilateral relations, the two leaders decided to establish relations with each other's nations. Soon, a Treaty of Mutual Sovereignty Recognition was signed between the two nations under the prerogative of the respective foreign ministries of the two nations. The treaty was prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations and was sent to the Government of Ikonia for review and signing. The treaty became effective following the signing of the document by the leaders- Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya, who signed on behalf of the Government of Vishwamitra; and King Abrams I, who signed on the behalf of the Government of Ikonia.
Bilateral relations
The bilateral relations between Vishwamitra and Ikonia have always been strong, cooperative and based on mutual friendship and understanding. The regular communications and discussions between the leaders of the nations have ensured the building of the strong relations. The Kingdom of Ikonia is the first nation from the MicroWiki Community and the first member-nation of the Grand Unified Micronational to have established bilateral diplomatic relations with Vishwamitra; whereas the State of Vishwamitra is the first-ever Asian micronation to have established formal relations with Ikonia. As one of the first cooperative programmes between the two nations, King Abrams I of Ikonia as the Grand Marshal of the Society of Arms helped to design the second coat of arms of Vishwamitra which was used between August 2020 and January 2021. On 29 August 2020, the King of Ikonia appointed Rashtradhyaksh as the Duke of Kinderry, thereby ennobling him as into the peerage of Ikonia. In addition, King Abrams I appointed Varuna Sriraya as an Officer of the now defunct Order of the Compatriots of Prestige on 1 September 2020, as a part of his Birthday Honours 2020. On 20 September 2020, Varuna Sriraya as the Rajpramukh of Purvanchal appointed his beloved royal cousin Abrams I as a Grand Commander in the Royal Family Order of Purvanchal, the highest dynastic order of the province of Purvanchal.
Communication between Vishwamitra and Ikonia got reduced between late September and December 2020 under various reasons. In late December 2020, the Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya re-approached Abrams I of Ikonia with the offer to re-design the coat of arms of Vishwamitra as the Grand Marshal of Arms which was soon accepted by him. On the eve of New Year's 2021, the Rashtradhyaksh appointed Abrams I as a Royal Knight of the Most Auspicious Order of the Sanghamitra for his contributions and services to the nation's heraldry and as a strong ally of the nation. The King of Ikonia, in reciprocation, appointed the Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya to the Order of the Diaconus as a Stranger Knight making him the first Asian head of state to have received the highest order of Ikonia. The act of the bestowal of the highest honours not only helped in the building of trust that must prevail between the leaders of two nations, but also have contributed in strengthening the relations between the two nations. Abrams I was conferred the honorary title of a National Artist of Vishwamitra for his services to the national symbols of Vishwamitra and was ennobled as the 1st Duke of Portanhel on the eve of the Rashtradhyaksh's birthday.
Soon, Abrams I was appointed by the Rashtradhyaksh to be a invitee herald in the Heraldic Commission of Vishwamitra and since then, have been a senior advisor in the commission and also an advisor to the Rashtradhyaksh on heraldic affairs. He, then expressed his will to join Vishwamitra as a citizen and discharge his services to the nation's military, especially in the air force. He was appointed to the Privy Council of Vishwamitra on 26 February 2021 and was appointed as the Commander of the Royal Vishwamitran Air Force on 8 March 2021 with the rank of air marshal. Varuna Sriraya, in turn, joined the Ikonian army and is currently serving as a captain and commands the Royal Reserves Regiment as the captain-in-chief of the regiment.
The Rashtradhyaksh of Vishwamitra appointed King Abrams I of Ikonia as a Stranger Knight of the Most Exalted Royal Family Order of Vishwamitra, the highest dynastic and chivalric order of Vishwamitra on the eve of the fourteenth national day of Vishwamitra. Heir presumptive of Ikonia, George, 1st Duke of Nikodemia was appointed as a Knight Grand Cross of the Most Illustrious Royal Order of the Crown of Vishwamitra on the same occasion. The King of Ikonia bestowed the Order of the Heart on the Rajpramukh of Beltola Tanishkaa Patranabish as a Dame of the order on the occasion of her 17th birthday on 17 April 2021, while Varuna Sriraya received the order as a Knight on 22 April 2021. In addition, Rashtradhyaksh Varuna Sriraya is also a Knight of the Order of the Heart and a Grand Commander of the Order of St Thomas and St Andrew. The Rajpramukh of Kamrupa Anirban Phatowali, who also serves as the Ambassador to Ikonia is a Commander of the Order of St Thomas and St Andrew.
Diplomatic relations
The relations between Vishwamitra and Ikonia reached special heights on 21 April 2021 following the decision of the government of Ikonia to establish a diplomatic mission in Vishwamitra. The notion of establishing non-residential and virtual diplomatic missions and accrediting envoys was shared by Varuna Sriraya to his Ikonian counterpart, Abrams I in a virtual summit held between the two in early April 2021 upon which the two leaders embarked on the decision to open up Honorary Consulates-General in each other's nation. Ikonia was the first nation to establish a diplomatic mission of the two nations, thereby appointing heir to the throne George, 1st Duke of Nikodemia as the inaugural honorary consul-general and head of the diplomatic mission of Ikonia in Vishwamitra. The government of Vishwamitra shall also reciprocate the same by establishing a non-resident embassy as the royal diplomatic mission in Ikonia. The Rajpramukh of Kamrupa Anirban Phatowali was appointed as the inaugural Ambassador of Vishwamitra in Ikonia and the head of the royal mission. The main motive behind establishing diplomatic missions was to promote and present the policies of each other's nations to the citizens and people of the two nations. The opening of diplomatic missions helped strengthening the relations and add a special moment to the history of the relations between the two nations.
