The Vrylandian general election of May 2019, scheduled for Saturday, 4 May 2019, will be the second Vrylandian general election.

Electoral system

A first-past-the-post system in which voters from each constituency voted for the local Member of Parliament of their choice was supposed to be used, but due to the poor turnout for the April 2019 Census, accurate electoral constituencies could not be made. Instead, a proportional representation system had to be used.

Parties

Several political parties which ran in the February general election were disqualified for the May election in compliance with new electoral commission regulations. Parties must now have at least 3 members to be eligible for an election.
