History
Foundation
Wellington was founded on the 9th of October 2021 as the first and capital region of Oshad.
Governance
Wellington is lead by the Governor of Wellington, who's appointed by the President of Oshad. The Governor may form a District Council, but the choice is theirs.

Culture & Society
Wellington is colloquially known as the Leadership District as all major national leaders either reside or work within the district. The President and Prime Minister of Oshad both reside in Oshad City within the district, the Government and Cabinet Offices are also located within the district and the State Council is also located here.
