The Relanian People's Republic (Relano-Dacian: Relanica Tautaca Republica), informally Relania (Relano-Dacian: Relania), is a self proclaimed state located in several areas, mainly Romania (Bistrița-Năsăud and Satu Mare), South Africa (North West Province) and Belgium (Begijnendijk). However, complete control is only enforced over Voskredava (Racșa) and Leuysbeek, 2 cities in the Republic. Relania is split into 5 subdivisions called Federal Socialist Republics or simply FSRs, with them being the Relanian FSR, Euburonse FSR, Nolkorian FSR, Hijan FSR and the Natvosan FSR. Each FSR has their own respective Heads of State and governors.
Relania is led by Premier Vasile Eddy Feher, formerly by Marian Feher, Deputy Premier Eben Berkvens and Prime Minister Dian Fivaz (Dian Fivaz is currently presumed inactive by the Relanian government due to a lack of activity seen from him). The government is split into 3 branches: the Supreme Assembly of the Republic acts as the legislative branch while the Supreme Court of the Republic acts as the judiciary branch and the Executive State Committee acts as the executive branch.
Relania officially began in 2006 with the United Relanian Empire and it lasted until 2015 when the 2015 elections occurred, with the Relanian Orthodox Workers Party winning them and officially establishing the 'Communist Relanian Union'. In recent times, Relania's economy has been improved and several plans to boost the economy further are currently being made.
Relania is a member of the International Workers Congress and the leading nation of the Voskredava Pact.
Etymology
The name 'Relania' had no exact meaning but according to the first leader of Relania, during the days of the United Relanian Empire, the meaning was 'Land of the Relanos', the Relanos being a small group they had made before the beginning of Relania that had inhabited the land for a couple years.
History
Pre-Socialist History (2006-2015)
Before the 2015 elections, Relania was originally called the United Relanian Empire and was founded in Köln on February 14th, 2006. It was pretty small, only occupying a couple houses in the city and was led by an emperor with absolute power over the state. Not much had happened during this time other than a small invasion of a region by the URE against a bordering micronation (There isn't much evidence to state the legitimacy of this claim). The nation soon went into a state of decline, leading to the removal of the current emperor and them being replaced with a new one but after a year, the empire collapsed and became a micronation led by a small provisional government until the 2015 July 1st elections, where the ROWP won, converting the nation to a socialist nation.
Post Election History (2015-Present)
After the elections, the provisional government was abolished and Marian Feher established the role of Premier to take the role of the leader. The nation underwent many changes and it had officially ratified the constitution the week following the power change. The nation was renamed to the 'Communist Relanian Union' to fit the new main ideology that came into the government.
In 2016, a massive population boost occurred in the CRU which resulted in an influx of money being made which lasted until 2017 and as a result that period was called the 'Relanian Golden Age' or the 'Age of Glory'. The population numbers had increased by 24% and revenue had increased by 42%. A couple months into the year, the Relanian People's Army was formed which originally constituted of 2 main branches, the Land Forces or RPALF and the Border Defence Forces or RPABDF. Relania at the time had consisted of 2 Federal Socialist Republics which were the Relanian FSR and the Hijan FSR, however, this would change in 2018.
In 2018, the 1st Federation of Imperium had declared war on the CRU and it lasted 23 days and resulted in a RPA victory with the capture of Kolkrin and a peace treaty being signed between the 2 nations called the 'Treaty of Myrok' where the region of Kolkrin was to be handed over to the Communist Relanian Union along with £50 in reparations. The region of Kolkrin was renamed to Nolkor and became the 3rd FSR in the Communist Relanian Union.
Following the incorporation of Kolkrin, the Great Stagnation had began where there was mass inactivity amongst the Relanian government and citizens, resulting in an end to the influx of income and a loss of citizens with the population growth rate declining by 31% and the income rate declining by 27%. Following the declines in late 2018, the country had become completely inactive and major government institutes such as ministries had become vacant and it would only be worsened with the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic where more people left for safety reasons.
In 2023, the pandemic became less serious and a couple people re-joined the CRU in their original roles and 2 new FSRs had joined the CRU, the Navarechnian FSR (Now Eubrunonse FSR) and the Natvosan FSR. Around mid to late 2023, Eben Berkvens had become the Vice Premier along with Dian Fivaz who had become the Prime Minister. On February 24th of 2024, Premier of 8 years Marian Feher had officially resigned from the office of Premier, ending his rule. Control had been handed down to his younger brother, Vasile Eddy Feher on the same day. The country had officially been renamed to the 'Relanian People's Republic' the following day, adopting a new emblem and flag before beginning a major restructuring of Relania which is currently still happening.
Relanian People's Army
The R.P.A is the Military of the C.R.U founded during the 'Age of Glory'. It is split into 5 main sections which are: Relanian People's Army Land Forces, Relanian People's Army Air Forces, Relanian People's Army Naval Forces, Relanian People's Army Border Defence Forces and the Relanian People's Army General Staff. The Land Forces have the most troops with bases in Belgium. The Leader of the Army was Andrew Freeman (Until 2023 due to the unknown deletion of his Discord account which was our only form of communication.) The Air Forces have had members before and nearly engaged in the Bongolian-Relanian Crisis in the online warfare game 'War Thunder'. The Air Force has tested weapons such as the Aerial Identification Rocket Defence System or AIRDS. It was tested on small consumer drones and worked successfully but is now going under re-works due to the first version of the system was tested in 2017. The Naval Forces is the newest of the 5 only founded in 2021 and only has 1 boat in service. There were originally 5 boats but 3 were tested on by the Land Forces for experimental weapons such as the Incendiary Frag Explosives (IFEs) and 1 boat was sunken by a leak. The Border Defence Forces is the second oldest formed right after the Land Forces were formed. They use several weapons including the Anti-Naval Missile (The 2nd boat from the Naval Forces was used to test this missile.) They have engaged in conflict such as the War with the 1st Federation in small border skirmishes and small scale involvement in the Invasion of Isle of Arran or Jankoleto Island to the 1st Federation of Imperium.
Government
The Communist Relanian Government is lead by the Head of Government (Dmitri Yakov Tsarovich who resigned and is inactive due to unknown reasons believed to be from conscription into the Russian Army for the ongoing war in Ukraine.) and has multiple departments.
