Filikigi is a micronation in central Ohio, United States. The nation was created in November 2023 to help accomplish one of Penn76's dreams of ruling a nation, also after the former Arlish Republic The country is the first member and lead nation of the Midwest Micronational Alliance, and has an HDI of 0.58385. The country consists of seven cities, split up into two regions. The North Region includes: Chicago, Woodhaven, and Athenia. The South Region consists of Jacksonvil, Gague, Oak Park, Antorinor, and the nation's capital, Bird City.
Filikigi is an Oligarchy, meaning that a small group of three to five people rule the nation, however Penn76 is the only person to be in this group, thus making it a dictatorship. Filikigi Law Enforcement is the nationwide police in the country.
Filikigi currently accepts trade from any nation, however there are some microstates that the nation does not recognize such as Molossia. With the nation being fairly new, the country is very neutral about most nations.
Etymology
The name of the country comes from the Greek words Filiki, which means "Friendly", and the word "Gi", meaning "Land."

Politics and government
The Government in Filikigi is an Oligarchy, consisting of a Dictator, The Big Four, the North Region Team, and the South Region Team. The "Region Teams" each manage one of the assigned regions in Filikigi Territory.
Dictator
The Dictator is Penn76, as he goes by on the internet. The Dictator has complete power over the whole country, and can manage any city in the country, including the City of Chicago even though the city is a True Democracy. If the Dictator were to die, a mini Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament will be held across The Big Four to decide the new dictator.
The Big Four
The Big Four is a group of four leaders that have almost complete control over the country (excluding the city of Chicago.) Two of the people must live in the North Region, and another two people must live in the South Region.
"Region Teams"
The Region Teams control one of each of the regions. The South Region Team controls the South Region, and the North Region Team controls the North Region except for Chicago, which the team has partial control of, as the city's type of government is a True Democracy.
Law and order
Filikigi Law Enforcement enforces the laws in the nation, hence the name. The police are divided into branches, depending on which city the enforcement is located in. The state of Filikigi also has some laws differentiating from the standard Lawset of the United States that it uses.

Geography and climate
Filikigi has generally flat terrain, and does include portions of a major river in the area. Birds such as Cardinals are common in the area. The nation's climate is generally temperate, like many other parts of the Midwestern United States, and no weather sensors exist in the country. A weather sensor may be built in Bird City within the near future.

Economy
Filikigi's economy is not considered great, even by the government, due to it's size, population, and popularity from the general micronational government. At the moment, the largest export happens to be bread, while tomatoes and broccoli being runner-ups. The largest import is various food products, but Bread just happens to come out on top. Most of the economy comes from tourism. Filikigi uses both he Midwest Krone and USD as it's currency.

General Infrastructure
Unlike most countries which use the standard block-numbering system, the numbering system starts by counting every house up one staring in the Southwest direction. For example, the first building located on Central Street in Bird City in the Southwest direction will be 1 Central Street, and the one across from it will be 2 Central Street. The one located North will be 3 Central Street, and the one across from that will be 4 Central Street.
Healthcare
In Filikigi, Healthcare is currently provided by American healthcare companies, however if the country decides to open up it's own healthcare, it will be aimed to be cheap, with no practice costing over F$ 3000 or $500. No pharmacies, clinics, or hospitals are currently in the country.
Transport
Road Transportation
The Fili Road System consists of 4 highways, Filikigi Route 1-4, with FK4 being a toll road. Motorized vehicles no more than 1.5 meters wide are not permitted for use within the country, with one exception existing in Bird City.
Public Transportation
No public transportation exists within the country, however a local bus line can transport passengers from Bird City to Jacksonvil with only 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of walking distance.

Landline and mobile phones within the country are reachable at +1 (614) or +1 (380).
Proposed FNP
The Filikigi Numbering Plan (FNP) is a proposed telephone numbering plan for the country of Filikigi and its residents. Both landline phones and mobile phones can operate and talk to each other. Callers will dial XX, the area code, followed by XXXXX, which is the line code. All numbers must be in seven-digit format. The emergency number will be 911.
Culture
Fili culture is similar but slightly different from the nation surrounding it, the USA. Education takes place in the USA, some special holidays exist, airwaves are broadcasted from outside the country, etc. Fili citizens speak English, no other fluently spoken human languages have been recorded. No press companies exist within the country, either.

Education
Fili education requires all citizens to go to schools in the United States. No schools exist in the country, however private tutors are available. A school is planned to be built in Bird City.
