After her accession, questions arose as to whether Isabela-Marie was going to keep her spot in the line of succession to the Imperial throne of Auradon or if she was to renounce her place in the line of succession. It was announced by the Imperial court that Isabela-Marie was allowed to retain her spot in the line of succession and if both kingdoms were to come to a personal union, then the Kingdom of Navonas was to join the Auradon Empire as an Imperial Realm. After their accession, questions arose again whether Isabela-Marie was to keep her place in the line of succession or if she was to renounce her place, as it was rare for there to be unions of two empires. It was announced by both courts that Isabela-Marie was allowed to keep her place in the line of succession with the condition that they produce two heirs for both empires to succeed them as monarchs. As Empress, Isabela-Marie has worked to bring union in all three kingdoms and bring them together all as one people as the Azecs, their ancestors before the Belarian conquest of the southern continent.
