Timeline

Breakout of the war

On 8 March 2024, Samuel G., the leader of Bolaria, discussed with Ran DB, the leader of Besonia. The discussion included talks about communism, the national ideology of Bolaria, and also included talks about the two nations' relationship in general. After Ran, a strong opponent of the ideology, stated his opinion on communism, Samuel believed the two micronations, who were only around a mile apart, should not be allies. Ran agreed, and stated he would not interact diplomatically with a communist micronation. Bolaria took this harshly. Bolaria quickly cut diplomatic relations, which was only made public when Ran announced it to other government officials.

The same day, Bolaria sent two troops, which included Samuel and another soldier, into Besonian territory. The troops weren't armed with real weapons, but with water guns. Samuel called Ran to come outside his house in Besonia. Ran checked security cameras posted outside his house, and printed a declaration of war very quickly. Ran slipped the declaration of war outside his front door, avoiding getting hit. Samuel picked up the declaration of war and took it with him, going back to his house with the other soldier. After the soldiers left, Ran DB publicly announced the war to the Besonian public.
