Route description

The route is entirely located in Stanislaus National Forest. Aaornsdgeojfsdkjfaoidajdsdojlsnafoewrhaosidcsojfn Street begins at an intersection with Forest Route 2N07, 2.32 miles (5.95 km2) from Deadwood, a nearby ghost town. The route travels through forest areas, it heads northwest, just before taking a northernly course - After about 242-feet (73.3 metres) it curves southward, before resuming its northeasterly course. Passing a clearing near a hiking trail, the route has a few curves westward and eastward for another one-and-a-half miles (3.8 km2), before heading eastbound, and intersections with Forest Route 3N08 to the west, and Forest Route 2N17 to the east. The route serves as a connector between Forest Route 2N07, and Forest Route 3N08 (west) and Forest Route 2N17 (east).

History

The route dates back to at least the 20th century, it was designated Forest Route 2N08 by the Tuolumne County Transport Network (TCTN).[2] The Premier, Leon Montan, made an executive decree called DP 007 on 15 February 2020 renaming Forest Route 2N08 to its current full-length name. It was purposefully named in order to have an incredibly long name. Because of this, the route is often noted on lists of unusual place names.[3]
