Arkala, previously known as Burghezia, is a village located in the picturesque Solara County, Solara Voivodeship of the Kingdom of Nucilandia. This charming town, with its rich history and scenic beauty, has undergone a series of notable events that have shaped its destiny. It is part of the Friendly Towns Programme.
History
Rebellion
Originally a part of the FBU, Burghezia found itself embroiled in a controversy that shook its relations with neighboring cities. The town suddenly severed communications with both the FBU and Nucilandia. The authorities from both the FBU and Nucilandia jointly conducted an investigation within the town's confines to assess the situation, and found the town's administration to be the one guilty of pilfering resources from the nearby city of Enada, and immediately began recovering them and securing them in Enada's and Solara's warehouses, while also banning the burghezian townsfolk from accessing those cities.
On July 10, 2023, the townspeople of Burghezia initiated a rebellion, voicing their dissent against the punishment measures taken against them, and began attacking the neighbouring lands and infrastructure. The rebellion was swiftly suppressed, as the joint forces of FBU and Nucilandia demonstrated their overwhelming might. Following the quashing of the uprising, the inhabitants of the town faced severe repercussions: they were expelled and subsequently banished from both countries.
Subsequently, Burghezia fell into a period of desolation, with its empty streets and buildings standing as haunting reminders of the once-thriving community.
Land Transfer
On July 28, 2023, the town of Burghezia, along with its surrounding areas, was officially transferred to the Kingdom of Nucilandia. The transition marked the town's transformation into sovereign Nucilandian territory, providing an opportunity for its revival and resurgence.
Rebirth
The dawn of August 14, 2023, brought a new chapter for Burghezia. The town was granted to Stefy, a visionary leader, who was bestowed with the prestigious title of Palatine, signifying the role of mayor. With boundless determination and an unwavering commitment to the town's renaissance, now known as Arkala, Palatine Stefy embarked on an ambitious journey of redevelopment and reform.
