The (autonomous) Republic of Qesmaira is an internationally not yet recognised sovereign state, which is located on the recognised territory of Argentina. The Argentine government or local politics of the region where the Republic of Qesmaira is located have not yet expressed any opinion on the sovereign state. When the Republic of Qesmaira declared independence from the Argentine Republic on 4 July 2019, it had a land area of about 7.5 km2 (2.9 sq mi) and a population of about 50. The land size of the Sovereign State is about the size of 3 and a half times Monaco. The number of inhabitants changed a lot in the following years, so we came to a present number of 142 inhabitants.
Geography
The Autonomous Republic of Qesmaira is located in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. As Argentina has many square areas, the shape of Qesmaira's borders with Argentina is also rather square. The total area of Qesmaira is 7.5 km2 (2.9 sq mi), which is made up of 2 regions: 1. Córtuya with 4.9 km2 (1.9 sq mi) and 2. San Anneda with 2.5 km2 (0.97 sq mi). These regions are further divided into provinces, for example Córtuya has 10 provinces and San Anneda 4.
