Prince Bal, The Prince Father of Bagmati was a senior Bhalam royal and a member of the House of Chhetri. He is the father of the former Maharaja Dhurba Chhetri and was titled as the "Prince Father of Bagmati".

With the ascension of his son as the first Maharaja of Bagmati on 6 December 2023, he was conferred with the title of Prince Father of Bagmati.
