The Barony of Winston is a budding micronation founded on 20 August 2017. It currently has a rating of 1 on David's Micronational Potential Index.
Government and politics
The Barony is currently a semi-absolute monarchy, with no technical limits on what the Baron may do in the constitution. Similar to the Constitution of the United Kingdom, the Winstonite Constitution is not a single document; rather, it is a series of several documents and legislation written over time.
Parliament
The Parliament is a de jure bicameral body, but is unicameral de facto, only consisting of the three-member House of Nobles.
The House of Commons will be the directly elected lower house of the Parliament, the majority party electing a Prime Minister after every biannual election.
Foreign relations
The Barony is currently in a mutual recognition agreement with the Thegn-Hold of Siar Fordell.
Economy
The official currency is the US Dollar, but as of 21 August 2017, there is no money both in circulation within the Barony and in the Baron's Treasury. Therefore, the economy is virtually non-existent.
